Hi Mike and All
You sent one on a swap once - beautiful fly.
I never could bring myself to use it!
Reg Baird tied a variation - forget what he called it - not
so beautiful - easier to tie on the leader but trout like it!
Have a nice summer

Well boys I finally found the original color for the wings on the Grey Ghost patterns and OMG does it ever set the fly off in my opinion.   I  tie a few of these every year and they can be one of the best  producers  in the spring.  Very much worth  playing with if you like streamers!!!!   Yes I see the band slipped on me I need a magnifier as I don't see these screw ups until I  upload the pics and  by then well ya know!!!!!    I am not that fussy I need to set up and take more pics you get the idea  lol

Gary, you're going to have to change the site name to "Fly Tying Streamers in Atlantic Canada", LOL!!

Another top notch streamer.  Now, who's winning the race, you or Robbie

Robbie as I am tying them, cementing them and will be tossing them into my fly boxes.  so come mid May I may not have any left without being all torn to bits.  I have  caught some large trout on these and am told here in Rossingnol that there are huge fish and  they want the largest streamers you can tie..............   Unless I go to the 2/0 10xl this is as big as I will be trolling this spring.  lol

I do love tying and your right if it was too nice and fancy I wouldn't want to use it and you can't catch trout that way lol
here it is I didn't have all trhe materials so substituted, had no JC so used a starling fearther and a dab of white paint
