LMAO! Anyone think this could pass for a spring peeper?  Tied in five minutes before out on deck to tie up at Argentia. Next one I'll take my time.

Wondering if anyone knows if small amphibians or reptiles(frog ,salamander , newborn snakes) are part of any trouts diet. For the most part, there aren't any that would be toxic for them that I know of around home and it would be a meaty snack if nothing else, and would be pretty common sight I would think. Since most of my fishing at home this year will be in the dead of summer I would try some patterns to fish.

back in my bonking days I caught a few trout with salamanders and frogs in them, big brookies can be pretty aggressive

Good to know Layton. Found em with mice but never seen frogs etc. Just figured if they were abundant in a place they would get eaten for sure. Gonna look up a few patterns to draw on before I get home. It will be terrestrial season by the time I get to it.
