Kennebago Streamer
« on: February 16, 01:58PM »
Here is a Herb Welch pattern  Named for the Kennebago Stream, a trout and landlocked salmon fishery in the Rangeley region of Maine.    Do not notice my wings are 2 mm off  grrrrrrrrr   I will fish this one myself but you can still use it as a pattern still needs 2 coats of head cement as well.

Hook         Partridge CS15 sz 4
HEAD    Black
TAIL            A small bunch of red hackle fibers
BUTT            Three parts take up one-third of body. front and Rear quarter of butt is peacock herl, middle half is pale blue floss,
BODY    Flat Gold Tinsel
RIBBING    Oval Silver Tinsel (over gold body portion only)
THROAT    A small bunch of Red hackle fibers
WING    Two dark red hackles inside of two golden badger hackles
CHEEKS    Jungle Cock
