Egg laying Caddis Klink
« on: March 01, 10:45AM »
I'm not happy enough with the results on this one to post it in the TOTM, but I think that it has some potential to hook a few fish. I will give it another go later. I've read a lot of good things lately about the Bloom's Caddis pattern so I tried to slip some of those characteristics into this tie. I might have to work on the details for this one yet.

It is white anatron that I doubled over, it makes a great post for working with. It holds the hackle really well.

I fished something very similar to this just the other day and it ripped up. so many fish were interest, they all came up and followed it down river for a few seconds and then destroyed it!

Great Fly and quite the dressing, only thing I would change is a pink post, yanno for dry dropper!
