Thanks Robbie . Wasn't really pleased with my work on it, still backtracking on these every time but just rushing through , need to slow down. Limited on good spinning hair still , hoping to stock up on dyed hair eventually so I can get back into them. Lots of other distractions anyway.

Ok man, if you have room I will be home by mid December. Like to check things out.

No problem, I know we do shut down in December sometime and then start back up in January.

Love that top one, both perfect but I like that white over chocolate . Dig the hook choice, first time I seen a bomber on an up eye.

If floating high is the main purpose of the spun deer hair , then some experimenting with foam should keep it high and dry. Want to try this with some foam blocks pushed over the eye and superglued to the shank before shaping. With petty much endless color possibilities it's seems like a neat idea to get them bobbing .

Awesome    Bomber time  is  a  coming...

I  tried the  foam  ones a few  years  ago  and  maybe I  did not  use  enough  foam  but  I personally  was  not  sold  on them at all.   Like I said  maybe  me  but my  bombers  are  always  hair  now..

Yeah Gary I really like to spin hair personally and don't see foam replacing that pastime. Just tryin some new things and the foam could serve many applications that are difficult to accomplish with traditional materials. Could come in handy to know how to use it and shape it if I get involved with tying realistics. Just an ace in the hole for now.

That last one was double hackled with Hebert Miner and golden badger. Calf tail for tail and calf body for wing. The longer looking hackle forward is a single golden pheasant breast hackle . Glad I didn't add more of that but think what is there is a fair match to the rest of the material and overall pleased with the tie. This one will do well where I intend to use it for salmon.

Just to do something speckles . Shank wrapped with thread then superglued and wrapped craft foam over , then simi seal dubbed. Neon and olive body and hackles. Should float like a cork but might send everything to the next pool.
