Bombers
« on: February 20, 11:20AM »
Not sure which style I like better, the Miramichi cigar style of the Labbatt Blue to the left, or the bushy Gaspe style of the Killer Whiskers to the right.  Either way, I'll fish these, along with a few other colours this summer in the tidal water and after dark everywhere.

These are tied on the Partridge Bomber Hooks
Tail: White Calftail
Body: Spun Deer Hair
Wing: Split White Calftail
Hackle: Two Natural Red Hackles

I fish the Killer Whiskers only,

I just like to drag free drift my fly and then at the tail end wake it out.

I've fished the Blue once and never the other one.  I usually throw on a white bomber after dark.
